Handheld Real‑Time 3D LiDAR Scanner
Up to 1.15 million pts/s. 360°×189° ultra-wide FOV
IMU bias instability better than 0.5°/h
Dual 12 MP HD cameras for sharper images in low-light conditions
Expandable design with an open hardware interface and SDK
Equipped with a high-precision IMU with 0.5°/h bias instability, the RS7 accurately tracks motion in feature-poor environments such as corridors and multi-level staircases. Its powerful inertial performance ensures stable and complete SLAM results even where geometric features are limited.
The RS7 features a new-generation LiDAR scanner with a point rate of up to 1.15 million points per second, capturing fine objects and surface textures with high precision. With an ultra-wide field of view of 360° × 189°, it captures ceilings and confined spaces without manual angle adjustments, obtaining complete and accurate scans.
Dual 12 MP HD cameras with Sony binning technology deliver sharper images in low-light conditions. CHCNAV HPGS 2.0 engine generates 3D Gaussian Splatting models for real-color scene reconstruction, combining visual realism with precise geometric details.
RS7 features an expandable design with an open hardware interface and SDK support. Integrated with CHCNAV CoCloud, RS7 delivers a unified device-to-cloud workflow. Field data is uploaded with a single click, and processing runs automatically. Point clouds, mesh models, and 3D Gaussian Splatting results are ready for use.

The RS7 is CHCNAV’s handheld LiDAR + SLAM scanner designed for reliable 3D capture in indoor and feature-poor environments such as long corridors and repetitive structures. By contrast, the RS10 integrates RTK + SLAM to support large-scale outdoor mapping and absolute positioning for projects that require georeferenced deliverables over wider areas.
The CHCNAV RS7 combines high-precision inertial navigation with SLAM and includes an IMU with 0.5°/h bias instability. This supports robust motion estimation in environments with limited geometric features, helping maintain stable SLAM computation and producing consistent 3D medeling.
The CHCNAV RS7 is designed for indoor surveying and documentation workflows, including renovation planning, underground and enclosed spaces, corridors and tunnels, property mapping, small-volume calculations, and BIM-related data capture, especially where GNSS is unavailable or features are repetitive.
The RS7 combines a high-speed LiDAR measurement rate up to 1.15 million pts/s, a 360° × 189° ultra-wide FOV, a high-precision IMU (0.5°/h bias instability), and HD imaging. It also supports 3D Gaussian Splatting for high-quality visualization. Together, these capabilities support full-coverage capture, stable performance, and efficient delivery of point clouds and 3D models.
No. With CoCloud integration, the RS7 supports a unified device-to-cloud workflow. Field data can be uploaded with a single click, processed automatically in the cloud, and delivered as point clouds, mesh models, or 3D Gaussian Splatting results, reducing manual steps and shortening the learning time.
